Dyeing To Colour

This book was published in October 2001, filled with information and recipes for dyeing a variety of fibres and fabrics. For the four main types of dye, various methods of dyeing were given, e.g. rainbow dyeing, space dyeing in a tray or microwave, quick methods for dyeing wool, cottons, silk etc.

The four dyes covered were- Acid dyes for animal fibres (silk, wool, mohair etc.) Direct dyes for cellulose or vegetable fibres (cotton, linen, hemp, viscose, rayon etc.) Reactive dyes (Procion) for cellulose fibres, as above and finally Disperse dyes or Transfer paints and dyes for synthetic fibres.

The book is ring-bound for ease of use, with 50 pages, 16 of which are in glorious colour.
